r/MGTOW has a fifth as many members as r/MensRights but is growing at about the same pace and has many more active users at any given time. Thoughts?

MGTOW is an immediate, personal solution to the problem of women, which is that what women and our society want from men isn't good for men. THE single most compelling reason for MGTOW, IMHO, is that too many marriages end in divorce, mostly initiated by women ONCE THEY'RE IN A POSITION TO EXTRACT THE RESOURCES THEY WANT FROM MEN. Men lose their homes, their children, and a large part of their income. More and more men want nothing to do with that.

MRAs are about societal, long-term solutions for men.

Both are good for men, but avoiding women leads to far fewer problems for men to begin with, which appeals to men so inclined.

Personally, the unbridled misogyny found in MGTOW disturbs me at times. At other times, I love it, because, at 64, I've seen close to fifty years of women demonizing men. The whole notion of, "Fuck YOU, I'm out of here!", now holds great appeal to me. It's emotionally satisfying.

Zero advertisements on television scream out how "cool" it would be to become MGTOW; not a single ad in any newspaper or magazine bears our image. And we STILL grow out of control. We're everywhere. These hyperfeminized cesspools declared war on us from the time we were born; its not a war we started but its a war we men will finish.

(((TradConism))) and society as a whole are the best recruiting tools. Keep pumping out those TradCon videos on YouTube with the post-wall hags ashamed they no longer satisy the requirements of their favorite carousel ride.

No real surprise. Hate and fear are seductive. Being a victim is intoxicating, and much like feminism forums, the echo chambers reinforce the victimhood fantasy.

It's a shame too, because as fast as they may be growing, I fear their toxicity is chasing away even more.

MGTOW is strictly taking care of yourself anyway you see fit and not sticking with tradecon/societal enforced "values.

Basically, they don't need woman. Their life is their own.

This sub will be quickly eclipsed by MGTOW, as it has by the Red Pill, primarily because neither of those subs are Politically Correct Hugboxes for social losers, like this place is.
