this sounds like a self conscious thing to me , like " I would love to have sex with you but I don't know what the fuck to do " . Which means you would want to comfort her through the process. Tell her you'll be gentle, that you'll make sure she feels good, etc. Losing your virginity is a big deal for most people I'd argue it may even be a little scarier for women so you may have to guide / comfort her through it .
