Society is more willing to listen to discussion of gender-related topics by women than by men. Female MRAs will often get a hearing when a male MRA saying the same thing would be dismissed and ignored.

it seems there is a complacency issue with men and they tend to just put up with problems. if anything i think it helps the movement having women being the main speakers because people are more likely to listen. how many times have you seen someone say "you are a man" or a "white male" in an attempt to dismiss their opinions. it also deflects the typical insults and categories they try to place people in to silence them, kind of like milo yiannopoulos, he has a shield for most things.

having more men speak wouldnt hurt but people are less willing to listen men and to be honest i dont really care as long as the right things are being said nd done.

I understand your concern, but think about this; with mainstream media giving absolutely NO coverage to the MRM, is it really a surprise that male leaders of the MRM aren't listened to? Would the vast majority of American women listen to a man that tells them things they don't want to hear, let alone admit? I'm actually grateful that there are women who ARE cognitive of the struggles that men have, and are willing to stand up for us. Because at this point in the game, we aren't going to be listened to anyway. At least not by the mainstream media, and those they broadcast to.

I don't think gender matters, the substance of what they're saying does. Would it be nice if some of the more eloquent male speakers could be more popular? Yes. But, they aren't for a reason... and it's sadly because it's so easy to silence them by just calling them "sexist" and saying they hate women.

Most people still allow that shit to stick when it's lobbed at men. But people generally don't buy into the whole "gender traitor" thing.

We are not feminists. A speaker's gender has nothing to do with whether or not they are capable of speaking up in defense of men.

There is an issue with certain people being perceived as Default Voice which means that other voices are not listened to.

In the US the default Voice has been perceived as Elam - and he's so ponderous in public audiences are bludgeoned into coma.

In the UK we have had the same issues with Mike Buchanan who lacks the agility to actually debate He's being replaced with Martin Daubney, Peter Lloyd, Philip Davies MP and even Karl McCartney MP.

In Australia there is Mark Latham.

Feminism dominates the gender discourse. Therefore any man going against it's doctrine is by default an oppressor displaying his misogyny.

A women speaking up is harder to ignore in this current scenario.

I think the men and women of the MRM work very well in tandem right now. It gives legitimacy. It also allows us to at least try to mend the growing gap that feminism has created between the sexes, to underline that we need rag other.

Thinking about it, it will be a red letter day when a regular man is seen as the leader of the MRM and is not roundly castigated by outsiders as a women-hater.

It's the idea that's being said that matters, not the person saying it. To my eyes what you're saying is uncomfortably similar to what he people at BLM or the... feminist movement... shivers

a) We understand that generally speaking, people are happier to listen to a woman talk about gender issues than they are a man.

b) They have some damn good points so why the hell not?
