Probably because protesting in private doesn't work well, if you are trying to raise public awareness. Not to mention, public protest is a right in most western countries.

Umm... I think everyone in this video is an asshole.

If you protest in a public place, you're likely to get people who verbally disagree with you. They may curse. They may call you names.

That's part of protesting: You get to slightly obstruct a public place; other people get to yell mean things at you.

When she touched the camera, she crossed the line, though it looked like she did it by accident while trying to block his view of her face. When the camera man touched her, he crossed the line. When the two protesters followed her they crossed a line. Then she started punching people. Which isn't okay either.

I love their message, and I think the blood-stained crotches get the point across, but you can't follow people when they have made it clear they want to disengage. The girl is obviously a moron, but I expect more from the protesters, ie, don't grab people or follow them.
