The best time to do something, is when you're thinking about it. So, randomly, I start thinking about stuff. My sister had an abortion many years ago. It would have been her first child. She and guy were in love. They had a committed relationship etc... Her health problems were the problem. The doctor (in not so many words) told her that she would probably die if she decided to carry this baby. She decided to abort very early in the pregnancy. She later told me that it was the worst 3 minutes of her life.

My question is: If guy (soon to be husband) was against the abortion. What could he have done to prevent it? Can he get an attorney and argue that the child is half his own DNA? That he should also have a say in all of this? My sister's condition was special, but what about all of the other completely healthy mothers who choose to abort and don't give a fuck what the man says about it?

I am still very pro-choice. I also believe that it should be a joint decision.
