As a society we must understand women are the same as men and deserve to be treated as equals. Except when they are expected to be held to the same standards as men because men and women are different and to treat them as equals isn't equality. We must understand that these women fell victim to harsh treatment, systematically entrenched into society to force women to subconsciously perform horrible and illegal acts against their will. Therefore we must understand to imprison a women is to except the patriarchy's ability to control the minds of women through internalize misogynistic manipulation as acceptable. To hold women accountable for their actions would be a violation of human rights that would make the Holocaust appear as a reasoned response to a minor inconvenience. At no time in human history have women in the West faced greater oppression than they do today.

I don't want my daughter's Brogan and Taylor growing up in a world where their actions will result in their agency being taken from them or used against them. I want them to be able to choose to be and do anything, but not be forced to be responsible for those choices, unless of course they have given positive affirmative consent during every interaction and noninteraction with any persons or objects they may or may not have come in contact with during, before or after the event or during, before, or after any events that may or may not have occurred during, before, or after said event.

Anything less would be unreasonable as a society.

I find it self-defeating to come to this sub and see so many posts about individual women doing horrible things. It really supports the belief that MRAs are just a bunch of woman-haters, gloating every time a woman does something bad.

We should be focusing on the real injustices in our society - divorce law, military service, etc. Focusing on this kind of garbage just gives women (and men) reason to dismiss us.
