Realistically, who is buying this magazine? They will focus their content to women, because they don't expect men to buy.

Same issue with many commercials- if it's not a car or a beer, odds are they don't care about men.

Not that this isn't an issue, but it's a well-nigh unsolvable issue.

Yeah, and don't get me started on P&G's 'Thank You Mom' campaigns; they don't even make sense because I've always been the one who buys detergent because I do the online shopping.

I'm in marketing, and I'm honestly not offended by this. It isn't a matter of excluding dads as though they're less of a parent. It's a matter of target market. I'd bet you dads are significantly less likely to buy a magazine for parenting tips. Add that to the fact that men are less likely to be at the grocery stores that sell this magazine. This isn't sexist, it's just statistics. So obviously they're going to put more women on the cover because the most likely buyer, aka the magazine's bread and butter, is more likely to pick it up when they see something they subconsciously connect with. The only reason June 2016 has a dad on it is because he's a celebrity. And shocker, women are more likely to care about celebrity gossip too. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion. I'm even a /r/mensrights contributor. I just don't think this is a good example of men being ignored in a world where we are constantly ignored for much shittier reasons.

TL;DR - this isn't sexist, it's just target marketing.
