I think you all are absolutely right on so many, many issues affecting men today, and am grateful that I can say that as a woman without being immediately accused of misogyny. I'll be told that I have internalized my oppression, but at least I can get out a couple of sentences without being called a woman-hater.

I have two sons, and it honestly scares me. It scares me the amount of hatred and blame that is piled onto boys and men's shoulders. I worry about their future. I worry about how to counter all of this negativity that they are bombarded with and let them know that not only it is ok to be a man, it is a wonderful and beautiful thing.

I can't believe how shut everyone's eyes are about how bigoted and anti-man the world has become. Case in point: I have to use my alt account to post this because I will be banned from so many other sites. Why? Because I think men should have some reproductive rights? I'd like to see the courts play fair with both genders? I'd like to see consent actually have a solid founding that applies for both men and women? Is it because I'm so, so tired of the victim card and fake rape claims and the "wage gap" that I refuse to listen to those lies anymore? Or is it just because I care about men? Would someone please tell me where the hate is in caring?

I'd like some advice from you guys on things I could do to help raise my sons in this environment. How to make them feel confident and true to themselves when there is no public support? How do I let them know masculinity shouldn't be associated with "evil" and "war". Is there anything that you wish your parents had done? Are there any resources I should look into?

Thank you guys for fighting the good fight . I'll try and do my part; not all of us women buy the misandristic propaganda.

(Ha! spell check doesn't even recognize "misandrous" or "misandristic" as words. )

EDIT: Seriously, thank you guys for all of these thoughtful and non-judgemental responses. I truly appreciate that you took the time.
