How often do you guys text plates?

Honestly this is the kind of, "It depends question". You have to be able to read your plate and tell if she's getting anxious or not. Kind of like how your dog misses you when you're away from home.

You can also base how much you text her off of how much she texts you. If she texts you more often, you can be a little longer with your messages.

If her messages are few and short yours should be too.

Follow the golden rule of 2/3. Give her 2 of every 3 she gives you (texts, touches, etc..)

I think that depends on how long you've known her and whether this is something you've done before, couple of months and it's OK imo.

However, it's worth considering that you should have done something in the interim, otherwise you look like you have no social life. Also asking her to meet the next day is putting her on the spot, don't expect her to say yes. And finally, is she just a plate to you and are you spinning others? Sounds like she's the only one and you have some feels

Usually a ping text mid-week or ahead of setting something up.

They usually like to at the very least be pinged...

To set meetings and one cute-ish text every week or so, particularly if we haven't met.
I'll text them if I see something that fits though. Some joke that somehow relates to them.

In your situation, I would go ahead and text her now only because you're leaving for a long time and you have nothing to lose either way.

I usually wait until my plate text me then I arrange something. If dead for 2 or 3 days i'll comment on something on their snap story or something to continue the traction.
