Training on Domestic Violence in police academy

Happy to say that we are getting non-gender dependent training during our domestic violence unit. Equal emphasis on male on female, female on male, male on male, and female on female domestic violence situations.

There have been some statistics that have been shown on the higher incidence of male on female DV, but also mentioned the likelihood that female on male DV is under reported.

All in all very happy with how we are being trained.
