I just find it rather ironic when Hilary Clinton gives such a statement - given that by this standard, she should immediatly step down from her current position in the election campaign.

Yes, this is a typical irrational reaction to a crime, it is not how I want laws to be influenced, but then do apply that same standard to Hillary.
