There has been a lot of talk about immigration policy. I think its important for us to understand that free trade in labour, is right wing, libertarian economics presented as new and progressive. Sweden is a good example, Sweden adopted a far right libertarian immigration policy some years back.

Somehow I doubt that's how it works in Sweden, because that's definitely not how it works here. It is the leftists who demand open borders and a huge influx of migrants. The right fights against it tooth and nail. And furthermore, there is no viable right of center political party in Sweden. The more I think about it, the more you sound like a loony leftist trying to spout horse shit.

For once, Michelle Malkin got it right: The right wants cheap labour, and the left wants cheap votes. That leads both American parties to collude in immigration and trade policies which destroy domestic labour.

Generally, any Western country engaging in excessive immigration and trade with third-world countries will inevitably cause its own labour and living standards to equilibrate to the third world.
