They should start by requiring courts to collate data on sentencing by gender and police with cautions/arrests ratios. These are government bodies and accountable to voters, private companies should be free to negotiate their own deals.

I support them doing this, for two reasons. First is that companies regularly screw over people for all sorts of reason that have nothing to do with gender equality. Second, it will reveal the wage gap for the fraud it is.

Why not just measure the data you already have in an honest way? yeah, that breaks the narrative.

I really don't understand why the state doesn't do anything. I mean, the 'wage gap' implies that women are discriminated against on a massive scale. There are laws against this kind of discrimination. Shouldn't countless companies be prosecuted for discrimination all the time?

If I had a company that paid equal money for equal work, couldn't i sue the state for doing nothing? I mean, I would be massive disadvantaged against my competition, wouldn't I?
