Edit: I changed the word "equality" to equity, because that is what Rhonda is talking about. Equity is each getting according to what they produce. Equality would be just giving everyone the same regardless of what they actually produce.

I'm far from a feminist, so please don't pick up the pitchforks just yet...but in sports, for the most part, won't women always be behind as far as pay rate simply based off the fact that their sports are less exciting, so people won't pay the same amount of money to watch them?

I mean, physically, women will always be at a disadvantage because they simply cannot do the exciting things that men can do in their sport. Basketball, softball, football...whatever. Women are just not as exciting.

I agree to disagree on the 9 months thing...especially when you factor in federal holidays and holiday breaks three times a year...that...in any other profession is a very lucrative benifit.

Otherwise, I don't disagee with anything you are saying. I find 50k with healthcare and said time off to be reasonable pay for k-12th grade teaching.
