I'm so fucking sick of articles like this sneaking in the same tired excuses of growing up poor, being around drugs and alcohol, etc. Of course environmental influences are relevant in a case but not in a general synopsis of a crime in a news article. Every god damn time, it's like they're saying, "don't get too enraged, now! The perpetrator grew up... *shudder*... poor!" Give me a fucking break.
