Wow, these comments, its just like I'm on facebook! "Hes lucky", "What is he gay?", "What a poor kid it must have been such a horrific experience!" Honestly would you think the same if this was a 50 year old pedophile going to some girls house he met on the internet and having sex with a 15 year old? What if it was your daughter? What if it was your son?

A 15 year old is still in cognitive development and will have trouble determining right from wrong. They may enjoy throwing rocks at cars but is it morally right or wrong? Its obviously wrong but they do it anyway because they have trouble differentiating between the two. This is why in the laws of the eye a child under the age of 18 ( in the united states) may not give legal consent to sex even if they want to it is considered statuary rape for a reason because you are deemed as taking advantage of a child.

As an adult you are given more responsibilities, not fucking children is one of them. You are an adult you know better than a child you know whats wrong and what is right, children are still growing up and learning. It is your responsibility to allow a child to grow up in an environment that won't corrupt them. As an adult you know that you are not suppose to be having sex with children. You know you are breaking the law, so why shouldn't you be held accountable? Because you are a woman? Because you are only slightly older than that person?

Yes different people develop faster than others but people can also develop slower than others. You are in no place to decide if a child can give consent or not. You do not decide that the law does and it does for a good reason.

Looking at these comments makes me depressed, I just hope all of you people who trivialize rape know you are the reason why rape victims aren't taken more seriously.

Edit: I'd just like to say this is the reason why sex can be considered rape as well while drunk/on drugs since you're judgement is impaired you cannot legally give consent. Just like a person who is not mentally fit. Think of children like drunk adults on shrooms. They may seem like they know what they're doing but they haven't gotten the slightest idea in reality. This isn't some sort of fairy tale. You people honestly make me fucking sick to my stomach. Is this ignorance or just plane and fucking simple arrogance? I'll try to stay off my high horse but some of you really need to get your head out of the clouds and re-evaluate your life. This thread has honestly ruined my day, I'd like to thank you all personally for that, really, give yourself all a round of applause for being a rape apologist.
