Trying to police the sexual habits of adolescents is pointless. If two teenagers want to fuck, they're going to fuck. No amount of law is ever going to change that. Rather, we should teach our kids about having responsible sex so they can make an informed decision for themselves.

A local DA told me of a case involving a pregnant teen and her teen boyfriend. The girl's father demanded the boy who knocked up his daughter be arrested. The boy was. Then the girl was too. Her father was told both minors had committed the crime of having sex with a minor.

Probably relevant that this was in southern California.

Up here, a 12 year old can give consent to someone less than two years older than them, a 14 year old can give consent to someone less than 5 years older than them, a 16 year old has no age restriction, but the other person cannot be in a position of power (like being a boss, school teacher, cop, etc), and it can't be prostitution or for a porn shoot. Once you're 18 you can go around fucking whoever you want, and you can tape it and sell it.

A lot of this stems from our default societal view that is:

Woman=Victim
Man=Agressor

Nevermind facts, circumstances, situations, and reality. What's really fucked up is if you voice your opinion that you don't assume the woman is automatically a victim...you're instantly labeled a woman hater and that you are the problem....leave those poor wymyn alone!!!

Don't ever accept that woman aren't responsible for their actions. They aren't children, they aren't stupid, and they demand to be treated like anyone else....so do it.
