I worked at the mall in my teens, in a candy store on the second floor right above Guess. I remember hearing a few girls just start SCREAMING bloody fucking murder, so I ran out and looked over the rail... sure enough these 2 bitches, probably 16, were getting cuffed for getting caught stealing from said Guess. I watched these two rich entitled white girls (about the only kind of person where I used to live) just scream and cry and plead for the next 5 minutes, making a giant audience appear around them. The entire mall gathered to see these girls get hauled off. There was applause once they were out! It was kind of amazing.

A long time ago I worked at Wal-Mart as an unloader. Loss prevention would ask us for help once and a while. I saw the crying thing a lot. LP saw it all the time and it had no effect on him.

Honestly, this is why I've heard people say if you make it out of the store with merchandise, DON'T go back. In her case it sounds like she knew he'd caught her and went to return it? Which I have to give her some points for. But I've also heard of people forgetting to pay for something and bringing it back, and getting the cops called on them.
