Hello RedPill! I saw this sub make it on r/bestof due to 2 wildly different posts a while back, and eventually began to read through TRP literature to see your side of the story. The first post I saw on r/bestof seemed very well written and intelligent until I read the rebuttals from a few knowledgeable Redpillers (especially the one by nicethingyoucanthave). it really made it clear that TRP is offering some sort of actual advice to those who desperately need it, effectively answering many of the constant questions that show up on askreddit, askwomen, dating, relationships, and other subs. What really got to me was the other response to OP's question about TRP.
I noticed that no one had addressed this response in a meaningful way (I wonder why), so I decided to take a crack at it using what I have learned so far on TRP. Bear with me as I attempt to take a sword to this Gordian knot.
The response begins with an explicit statement of Fear due to OP pulling a girl onto his lap even after she "strongly hinted" that she didn't want anything physical. she stated that:
"You are bigger, stronger, and faster than she is. You might forget this or not think about it most of the time, but women are ALWAYS aware of it." ....
"Now, there isn't a rapist lurking around every corner. Most streets are safe even in the dark. Most people are good and trustworthy. But not all of them are, and sooner or later the law of averages kicks in and then you find yourself in a situation where vigilance is the only thing standing between you and the dark, scary part of being smaller and slower and weaker than men."
she then expressed a state of panic, and listed 4 possible attempts to deal with the situation that OP provided, eventually deciding to do nothing at all.
"Why? Because I said "No" to you and it meant nothing. She said no and you didn't feel obligated to respect that."
then she goes on to dismiss any and all possible de-escalation or simple agency on the part of the woman because:
"Jesus H. Roosevelt ball-stomping crackerfuck Christ. You think what you did is okay because your target didn't INVENT A SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE TO GET AWAY FROM YOU?"
WOW. Just Wow. I'll start by saying this type of woman should be avoided like the plague. (now I get why no one really challenged her in a meaningful way). She is certainly not First-Mate material, and her perceived submissiveness is really just cowardice, with help from a certain hamster. She has no sense of agency or personal responsibility, and freezes at the first instance of an interaction with the "bigger, stronger, faster" male.
I'll break down my diagnosis. While OP (obvious Incel) gave a clear example of TRP confidence in practice, this woman could not possibly accept that women in general like and respond well to assertiveness, instead turning the entire scene into a potential rape in progress, using fear as a primary emotional base. She then goes on to describe her own adherence to socially acceptable behavior, assuming the worst consequences for her actions, and finally decides to do nothing at all. If OP had been fat, ugly, short, and overall unattractive, no one would be surprised to see a woman reject his advances. Likewise, had OP been rich, handsome, fit, and tall, the expected response for her would be to accept his generous offer to (Gasp) sit on his lap.
However, she assumes that OP is somewhere in the middle of the attractiveness scale, and further assumes that all eyes in the room would be focused on this single interaction. TRP calls this solipsism, but Psychologists call this specific part an Imagined Audience. This childish assumption that everyone around you cares and is constantly judging what you do combines with another phenomenon called Learned Helplessness (look this up) to create a mindset of powerlessness. Thus the woman OP spoke of would have no choice but to accept an invitation to (Gasp again) sit on his lap.
I imagine the one who wrote the response in a similar situation, desperately searching around the room for a knight in shining armor to save her from this terrible fate. She is enslaved by the social script, and can do nothing at all to escape her fate. This weakness, this lack of personal responsibility, is a huge red flag because later in life this woman is likely to be swept up by a successful man unless she is constantly guarded by whatever poor sucker she manages to marry. At least one divorce is guaranteed. Her frailty and confusion means that she should not even be considered for a one night stand, as she is likely to report it as a rape to the police later.
Her commitment to weakness makes any response on her part to disengage unnecessary, and she puts the blame on OP for not accepting an imaginary "no." If the girl who OP spoke to really did not want to be interacted with, she would not have been there at all. This means that OP's actions in context are appropriate, and we can see from his story that the actual girl in question responded well to Alpha behavior. I have personally heard all kinds of responses by women who took charge of the situation and rejected a man's advances in a civil manner. The one I've heard most is "I have a boyfriend," or a clear "I'm not interested" or a hundred other ways to de-escalate. I've seen very humorous and casual methods at some parties that allowed both people in the interaction to retain their dignity.
I have heard about the fear of walking down dark alleys from women I know, so I can sympathize with this woman's fear. However, she over-applies this to social situations, and then blames her social conditioning on her refusal to engage the problem at hand. So she admits to "being smaller and slower and weaker than men" (hello biology) and then admits to a paralyzing fear that makes her unable to respond in a pinch. This victimhood is simply pathetic because it makes women seem like they cannot be trusted to make their own decisions. If this is true, then every Feminist ideal is a joke (which Victory Svyatski, the male leader of Femen in Ukraine, would probably agree with).
