It's actually interesting how determined the feminists are to try and attack universities. They clearly thought they had a strangehold on them but now people are fighting back they can't use these organisations for their recruiting grounds anymore.

By the way, this sounds like some 4chan shit, I wouldn't be surprised if students were saying it on purpose to piss off the feminists.

This isn't overly far fetched the current pm David Cameron was a member of the bullingdon club at Oxford where one of the criteria for joining is allegedly burning money in front of a homeless person. He also allegedly face fucked a dead pig. Other important figures in this club were Boris Johnson London mayor and eorge Osborne treasurer.

Basically at such a predigious uni I can see this shit happening.

I'm currently a student at St John's, Cambridge (state educated male, if that matters). The stories you hear about the students here reflect an insignificant minority and, even in those cases, individual incidents on the media are usually blown out of proportion. It seems the perfect instance of confirmation bias: people want to think of John's students in a particular light and isolated incidents, which probably happen as frequently as elsewhere, are embellished or remembered. Students will be students and get drunk on occasion and say stupid shit. I haven't met any student that is uncomfortably laddish and only one that I would be able to describe as elitist, at a stretch. Of course, these are my opinions.

All this Bullingdon-club type nonsense is either hidden very well or it just doesn't happen.
