I asked this question to just two women... at separate times.. but the answers were so similar, that I wonder about it.
I started the conversation by asking what defines a "Karen" and they both agreed that it's an entitled middle aged woman who uses verbal abuse.
I asked them what they thought defined a "Chad". Both said (separately) that he's a guy who's supremely cocky and arrogant and self centered.
I countered that I had heard that his defining trait is his looks: he's tall, muscular, and with a good chiseled male-model jawline.
They both said that's not right: he's definitely first a cocky frat-bro.
I countered that it's his looks that allow him to be so cocky in the first place. He knows that if any girl rejects him, there are several more willing to take her place.
This seemed to cause all kinds of cognitive dissonance for these girls: admitting that a guy could be so good-looking he actually holds power over women and can be cocky about it?
What do you guys think? And what do you think of my definition of Chad?
