There are all sorts of posts here, but this is also a space for men to be able to express themselves about how they feel, something they can't do in many other places.

If you want intelligent posts, look for intelligent posts. People searching in bad faith will find any excuse to dismiss the movement anyway.

It depends where and what you post. I have tried positive posts here and been downvoted reinforcing your bitter conclusion. However, people need to work through their anger. And remember, many men here are fresh off the divorce rape train. And when these men try to talk about what they went through the are told to check their privilege by SJW feminists, if not flat out dismissed.

Also, you mention "Not from a place of some emotional angst." I believe this is where the pot met the kettle.

I've have a conversation with a feminist once. It went something like this.

Feminist: After listening to you MRAs, more women will circumcise their sons just for spite.

Me: You would really circumcise you're son just to spite someone?

Feminist: No, but it makes it harder to be sympathetic.

Me: Really? I've spoken with many feminists. They've gotten me so angry that I've resolved to screw over the first woman I possibly could, but when that chance occurs, I can't do it. I never find it harder to do the right thing, but maybe it's just in my nature.

That's when she stopped communicating.

There's over 120,000 subscribers here. There will be bitterness, anger, action items, intellectual discussion and much, much more. I think you are viewing things through a bias lens. I see lots of interesting and challenging viewpoints on this sub and some things I think are pretty much useless. There's no way to get a pristine result here. If you disagree with the content of a post downvote it and vice versa.

When people experience and see injustice, it makes them bitter and angry, you can't just go around telling people not to feel this way considering just how much shit some people have gone through on this sub especially with things like divorces and the like.

I call people here on trivial bullshit regularly, but really? On a personal level you have feminist journalists ( and when you look at what they write they really are feminists, this isn't just paranoia ) posting this crap where they go around claiming men are afraid of commitment or that men are scared of independent women. Even though I know these people are just being cunts and I have never met them they are attacking and trying to humiliate my demographic i.e. Me ( white something or other in their 20's or 30's ) on top of that, some of them even openly declare me hostile just for having a fucking penis, which you do not get to do. Manners and politeness goes out of the fucking window when someone tries to act like I'm a rapist and a misogynyst just because they say so.

What you're talking about is politeness, not intelligence, sometimes people just need a reality check even if that means being 'rude' because these really are a bunch of spoilt princesses who have been so used to getting their way in life they. When feminists stop trying to make bullshit claims about me and deliberately trying to steer people against men for no fucking reason then I'll stop getting pissed off.

People who say this is perceived aggression, need to go and check out the videos of these crazies going around claiming men don't 'need' to have open debate about their issues, that they don't need help from people that they aren't oppressed in some form or another.

The only people doing the oppressing are these women and the men who blindly support them, they're preventng any discussion, once people can speak freely about all of this, then I'm sure you'll see far more eloquent and less angry discussions.

By the way, if you want eloquent, I highly recommend checking out the red pill documentary by Cassie Jay which is now definitely being made, it will likely have the kind of discussion you're looking for as it's done by a feminist who is actually looking at all viewpoints and not just feminist ones.

TLDR: All people want here is to be able to freely discuss gender issues and we're all being shut down, this subreddit is simply a location where all the people who have been censored, harassed or banned from places have gathered, so yes there's going to be anger and bitterness.

I completely agree. I subscribe to lots of equal rights subs to get a balanced viewpoint. I often find this sub bitter, sometimes rightly so, e.g. little to no support for male domestic abuse victims. Other times it seems a bit of an over reaction e.g. a woman tutted at me for not holding the door open. Fucking feminist cunt.

There is all kinds of good information that pops up here, including different studies, stats, debunking myths, etc. You're free to post that kind of stuff if you want more of it here. In fact, the reason this Subreddit actually does so well is because it is so factual.
