A win on points for Kay. He wasn't setting out to defend any MRA positions, but he did a very good job in a biased panel with a biased moderator in repeatedly bringing the subject of conversation back to the authoritarianism and intolerance of the feminists.

Jonathan Kay: Adam, are you telling me that a student group has been created that's oppositional in nature, that's going against established ideologies? That's a scandal.

The common response of my generation is "these delicate flowers are in for a real shock when they enter the real world."

I am more worried the effect this generation of students will have on the real world. We are breeding a generation whose first impulse is to appeal to power, and to demand that "the Man" crush people that the local majority finds offensive, or out of step, or in some undifferentiated way non-conforming in their ideas.

Not that I could do better than Jonathan, but seeing that the 2 feminists don't care at all about men's problems, he maybe should have just kept saying that men have the constitutional right to assembly.

I think he did fine. Compared to Mike's performance, he was active, stood his ground, was saying basic things. Who is he, though?

I would pick up on the male feminist saying that the opposite of feminism is misandry (no it's not feminism=/=women), and [clearly well-off] female panelist saying about historical sufferings by saying that they want to censor kids who were born many years after any presumed "historical sufferings" and who had nothing to do with any of that. BUT, it's easy for me to say when I wasn't there. What he did being on the spot is great.

PS And I wouldn't even go into the fact that I"m not sure that women in the west were not historically oppressed. Because the oppression was based on wealth/class not on gender.
