On a number of issues, yes. There is also consistent demonization and sexism against men in the media, contempt for men in the culture in general, etc.

In Canada men have fewer legal rights in the constitutional document; that certainly qualifies them as second class citizens. If having fewer legal rights doesn't define the term 'second class citizen' what does?

By feminist countries, what do you mean?

I wouldn't think so. I would think they actually have it better than men in many other places in the world in terms of gender roles, but that's just how it seems to me.

I know, for instance, that feminists in Norway spearheaded a successful movement to make conscription gender neutral. In Sweden, probably the country people think of as the most feminist of them all, conscription was removed with the caveat that should it need to be brought back it would be gender neutral as well. These countries also tend to have very generous paternal leave when compared to other, "non-feminist" countries.

I'm not sure what, if any, parts of living in these countries would be bad for men. It seems to me that feminist countries also move towards a removal of gender roles which will always benefit men.
