I don't believe a woman should be president until women have to sign up for selective service.

I feel like boys/men have lost hope or just feel unneeded in this modern society. 24/7 "girls are better bombardment."

I am sure she is saying that he is not lucky to have her when she is on the roof fixing a leak, mowing the grass, or any handy project throughout the house. Because she shares those chores with him like all women should. Right? .... Right?

[–]mochacola 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Of course. Like she said, that is not his luck, that is his choice, because any women who don't do all that, he is not going to tolerate them. Not luck.

Except most women dont do that so he is forced to accept a lower quality woman.

Those lower quality women did not seek to challenge old ideas, to live a different way and to challenge others to do the same. Despite the hard work of those who sought to bring that change about. It is men and women talking about, campaigning for and writing about this issue that has brought about change. Where we now see mothers as more than just sandwich makers but also plumbers, handyman, lawn mower, ATM machines, ...

If he ended up with a wife who expected him to do men's work, he would tell her that he was not happy with that. And that is how lower quality woman are avoided, by choice and not by luck.

You obviously didn't read the article because we are not talking about the same thing.

Women->sandwich makers is something you brought here.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with that article. It is grossly insulting to parents who work outside the home when people act all surprised/impressed to see them competently providing direct care for their children when they are at home - and it only happens to fathers.

What's your problem with this article, OP? Do you really think your SAHM acquaintance who posted this on Facebook should change every diaper, wipe every snotty nose, make every sandwich, soothe every hurt, read every bedtime story, because it's "her job?" Do you think that would be a good thing for her husband's relationship with his kids?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I thought it was much better than I expected. It is basically saying that she picked someone that is fit for her and shared raising their kids. It's hard to tell about much else in the relationship as not much else is mentioned.

I actually liked that article, Fatherhood is the most underrated thing in the western world. However, if you're a stay at home mom you're naturally going to be doing more of the chores with the kids, that's the nature of the job.

Yet more trash from Huffington Post. They aren't just anti-man harpies over there, they're mindless anti-man harpies.

As we all know, the man is seldom the lucky one in the relationship.

well that is one entitled bitch that has kindly taken the effort to identify herself as such, any fool who hitches his horse to that wagon is a fucking idiot
