Jeremy Corbyn is the current leading candidate in the UK Labour party leadership battle. He has proposed a document called "Working with Women" which is basically a feminist wet dream, which "tackles the inequalities faced by women". Policies proposed include:

  • ending funding cuts to women’s refuges and domestic violence services
  • making it mandatory for companies to publish equal pay audits to help bridge the gender pay gap and challenging everyday sexism through education in schools.
  • "everyday sexism" should be challenged through compulsory Personal, Social Health and Economic (PSHE) education for children
  • pledges to pump money into more training and apprenticeships for women in STEM fields
  • Corbyn has also vowed to make his shadow cabinet 50% female, with the aim to make half of all Labour MPs women

This is where the feminist agenda which has dominated the mainstream media in recent times now makes the push for mainstream political acceptance. The media coverage is using shaming tactics to disparage the other leadership contenders (two of whom are women) to show their feminist credentials. We're almost at the point where not being a full-blown feminist is tantamount to misogyny. Ironically, as someone on the Libertarian Left, Corbyn would be my preferred candidate, but I cannot stomach this feminist idiocy.
