Men are attracted to younger women, because women are more valued for their looks. A women's beauty decreases with age.

Women are attracted to older men, because men are valued more for wealth and status than their physical beauty. As a man ages, his earnings and status generally increase.

I suspect part of this also has to do with the lack of older females on okcupid compared to older males.
