Comments are very encouraging. A lot of gay men are VERY pissed off about this. There are also a lot of left wingers saying things like, "I never thought I'd find myself agreeing with Barbara Kay," etc. If feminists lose the left they are toast, and it's happening as we speak.

Feminists in positions of power in Toronto have spend a great deal of energy silencing MRAs because they want to maintain the near monopoly feminists hold in the gender discussion. They disrupt MRA meetings and pull fire alarms. Men's groups are actually banned by the Canadian Association of Student Unions. Feminists use this monopoly to promote dishonesty such as the wage gap, rape culture, and that men are always the aggressor in domestic violence. With PRIDE, although feminists have had an uneven record with gays, they dominate lesbian groups and thus can ban CAFE.

I find it so infuriating that they banned cafe for being offensive to some of the participants, but allowed the anti-Israel block to march with them.

Saw the poster and can't help but wonder, why they don't see it as possibly offensive to use the word queer how they do/at all? I know everyone is affected by different words but I find it funny to be called a fag, but queer just sounds way more blunt and like the gay version demeaning terms from pre-prohibition.
