Well, I left a few comments (and also posted in my tribalism piece). The article is good, except for the wallbanger attack on the MRM, in which the author mindlessly attacks (and misunderstands) one of the few bastions of the progressive movement the decline of which he elsewhere decries.

Everyone here should read this article. I haven't yet seen someone who so keenly grasps what post-wave feminism has become: a cloak used to reintroduce regressive schools of thought back into all aspects of government and culture. This is why there's a split between egalitarians like C. H. Sommers and modern feminists. One side values enlightenment ideals, one despises them. This is bar none the best "big picture" article I've read about the feminist/SJW reactionary phenomenon.

This is explained easily enough. All those other groups actually threaten the actual real power structure in our society. The rich, the powerful, the upper class. Nobles vs. peasants, same as it ever was. The rise in power of Feminism is a classic divide and conqueror tactic to keep fighting each other rather than them.

edit: I think this is also why they threw in the little bit of anti-MRA at the end as well. Because so many MRAs think it being "anti-feminist" is integral to the very definition of MRA. And this thinking just feeds into the divide and conquer infighting the Nobles want.

Gee, i really wish i hadn't wasted my time reading that. He gets a few things right, but seems hellbent on exonerating New Feminism by constantly claiming it's just being co-opted by nasty people who are against modernity. It's like he both blames New Feminism and doesn't blame New Feminism. But what really gets me is his insistence that New Feminism's constant attacks on men add up to misanthropy! How the hell does saying "Men are shit and women are wonderful" add up to an attack on the whole human race? It doesn't, but i guess he's just another asshole who can't see misandry no matter how obvious it is. Rather ironic bit of irrationality, coming from someone who otherwise seems to be defending reason! Far as i can remember, this is the first Spiked piece i have read and it does nothing to make me want to read another.
