This doesn't make me sick. It is illustrative.

The men aren't hugely phased by it. There's a lot to think about there. Is it because they are not subject to a frequent exposure of such remarks? Is there possibly even more of a contribution from an imbalance in attitudes towards bawdy exchanges and sexual advances. And so forth.

It is a double standard, but I understand why it is that way.

Harassment is the repeated disturbing or offending of someone. If it only happens very rarely, it is not harassment. Hence why some women find cat-calling harassment, some have to deal with it on a daily basis. But men, we never get cat-called and its a rare event for a girl to come up and hit on you. Its so rare in fact it can seen as a joke.

Now if men had to deal with ugly women trying to get into their pants every day, they'd likely get annoyed and eventually call it harassment.
