OK, how many HuffPo female journo/editors date men who wear dresses? How many HuffPo male journo/editors wear dresses? How many male journo/editors are even allowed to wear dress while at work in HuffPo offices or during HuffPo lives?

But more to the point, below is an excellent comment left on the HP site that really nailed it: "A lot of our black boys are not wealthy and famous and don’t live in Hollywood, so don’t tell us how this kid is changing anything for black masculinity for most black males who don’t live that life. We have to live in the real world. You think my boss or my local friends and family would think I was cool if I walked out of my home in a dress or showed up at my office in a dress. Please come one. Stop telling regular people how a rich celebrity is going to redefine a regular person’s life."

People famous for being famous how vapid and shallow it's high time we stop worshiping this circus act. Look at history entertainers where not nearly as celebrated as they are today. Mass media "technology" has been leveraged to create a vast fiction but I think the veneer is starting to wear thin.

People respect those that accomplish meaningful task that bring value to society and humanity. Entertainment is fine escape from the mundane can be a joy but frankly when it comes down to brass tacks those than create life saving technologies, medicine vaccines sanitation we owe these people so much more. We owe the people that invent and create labor saving tools that save human lives from a life of drudgery and waste of labor like washing laundry by hand our doing repetitive tasks better suited to machine than man. It's time we celebrate these folks more. This kinda people are still hard at work despite being ignores doing things of immense value things that put simply wearing a fucking dress into perspective.

Anyone who thinks anything a man does makes it masculine or a woman does feminine thinks far too simplistically.

The article is about Jaden Smith, and African styles of male garb. The pictures don't show up unlesss you go to the actual article.

This is nothing new

They aren't "redefining masculinity". Rather, they are taking it back.

Unlike cross-dressers who are seeking to express the fact that they ARE a woman (or at least not entirely male), and unlike drag queens who are seeking to make a comedic or political statement, and unlike people who get off on being degraded by wearing inappropriate clothing, these folks are clearly men who are using a wider range of clothes to express themselves -- a range that is available to them elsewhere, just not often in the West.

I think it's great to see. It's the equivalent of Garbo and her top hat. Does anyone doubt her femininity?

I could click the first two links [under where the picture would be] to Instagram directly. So you don't have to go to the article at all.
