Hey y'all,

tl;dr - I'm having trouble finding that fine line between being sociable and commanding the room vs. being sociable but blabby and attention seeking.

I'm "sociable." Never had a problem with it growing up - but I had the opposite problem to all those introverts and aspbergers kids on the social skills sub. I didn't know when and how to shut up as a kid. I understand that being sociable is important, but we at TRP know that shit can dry up panties quickly if it's that try hard kind of sociable - like you have something to prove. People will quickly put you in your place if you behave that way.

I'm wondering what techniques you guys use to be calmer, cooler, more collected, less blabby. This is probably better for those extroverts turned red pill.

What mental frame shifts to you have to take on? And then how do those manifest into behavior? I've noticed that meditating helps. Any other mental shifts/behavioral shifts? It's hard to strike that balance between sociable and commanding the room to sociable but just seeking attention.
