This article is feminist PR, but it's not aimed at men. It's like when a Republican politician goes to see the NAACP. They are not trying to persuade black people. They are trying to prove they aren't racist to the white moderates. This article is a feminist trying to make non-feminist women believe feminists don't despise men.

As such it's a bit off for a man reading it because it is talking past men. Ignoring their real issues and being disrespectful, but not in such a way that the average woman would notice.

It is correct to say that men to have to earn their value through what they do rather than just having it from existing. But I see absolutely no solid evidence that this is the fault of patriarchy.

I'm starting to think that "patriarchy" fulfills the same role for feminist dogma as "the devil" does for fundamentalist religion. A catchall explanation for whatever bad is happening, and an excuse to not look for other causes.

This whole sub reddit is a joke right? Ive honesty been stuck on this page for an hour and can't tell if this is serious or not, you guys all know the whole planet rocks for us men right? Honestly what is the point of even getting remotely upset by any of this? Its not like crazy feminists are going to suddenly rise up and cut off all our dicks

edit: Its like when fox news gets freaked out about the "war on christmas" each year, Its a problem that is virtually made up and doesn't matter in the first place!
