I don't think it's an accident that they found a way to shoehorn in that Luke's killer was a man. Given the culture of misandry in Australia, I doubt she would have been given this award if Georgina had killed Luke.

The entire article uses "violence against women". It seems from the author's perspective that Luke's sexuality makes him an honorable woman.

Alas, i didn't even need to click to know who this is about. This entire case is sickening, from the murder itself to the way feminists have hijacked the boy's death for their own purposes, and her being given Australian of the Year probably marks the start of the feminist view of domestic violence going mainstream. Australia -- it's like Sweden except with more bogans.
