Don't conflate 'women' with 'feminists' if you want to keep grounded.

It was used to lay all the problems affecting black women at black men's feet.

Who taught you to do that? Often it's mothers which is one good reason it's good to have fathers in the home.

No more tolerance of ghetto attitudes.

There is Very Smart Brothas and there is Tommy Sotomayor (not a nice guy). I suppose Steve Harvey is somewhere in between. There was also a movie from 2008 called 'Diary of A Tired Black Man'. I think black men have been heard better than white men who still can't claim to be victims of society even where it's obvious they are. White women who lead the charge in feminism are reluctant to take on black men who can claim far greater oppression while black women become suspicious of 'black male dominance' with so many single mothers, incarcerated men and unemployed men. The black feminists is by far the easiest feminists to bring back to their senses. She can't deny her men have substantial issues without risking being exposed as a fraud or an idiot.

When it comes to women in general who like men may or may not be jerks I prefer not to negatively generalize. That's the road to misogyny like feminists who do the same to men and end up being misandrist. I hope you avoid going to the dark side. That's where Tommy Sotomayor went.

Who cares, not your problem or anyone else's. you don't owe them anything, they can bitch all they want infact it serves you better that they are vocal about it than if they just secretly harbour these views.

the fact they are vocal about it makes them easier to avoid and not waste any effort or care on.

the more "demanding" these morons are, the more lonely they become, until they realise that they cant force people to be with you, just like you cant force someone to be your friend.

I'm not black, and if there is one solid thing that I heave learned through this whole dance of social upheval and everything is that there is something to that "you can't understand the experience" thing, with respect to life as a black man.

So, that being said, my only contribution here is: Please never say, "I'm one of the good ones." I've seen that happen to black men based on racial categorization before, and I expect that there will be cowing to get them to say it again, now based on gender.

I've noticed a lot of feminists have a hard time believing minority men are actually men.

In their minds everyone is an oppressive male or oppressed female.

So minority men are honorary women. Anything else shatters their world view.

Then when those minority men refuse to accept their non-consensual sex change these feminists are confused and outraged.

I am not a North American so I really have no ability to comment rationally, but I wish you the best on raising awareness about the issues faced by black men with respect to inter-gender relationships within the black community. Its clearly an under-discussed subject area and more attention to it is a good thing!

Is this really new? Not to be snide but this seems par for the course for black women to blame their problems on black men in spite of the reality that they largely deal with the same issues. I guess this is a new platform to do it. But this is the exact type of poop I never want to touch because there are way too many insecurities and unspoken mental/emotional issues going on within black female circles as made evident by the scores of women with perfectly great natural features that they sully with fake shit all over the place. So many self described "strong" women with so little will power. Just glad my moms raised me right.
