Male/male rape is an issue, but no one really talks about that.

Male/male domestic violence is an issue - where are the battered men shelters?

Many men who are homeless are also gay and are homeless because of a family and societal structure that is very negative towards gay men.

Gay men who were married and had a child in certain states of the U.S. find their parental rights deteriorated or completely eliminated, often with their sexuality being the cause of the elimination. My ex had a son with his wife in ... Georgia I believe. Then he accepted that he was gay and ended their relationship. She used his sexuality to gain full custody of their child and deny him the right to even see his child.

I experience a great deal of gender dysphoria but I can't really claim to be trans since I decided to just live with the sex I was born.

For me the biggest issue is that men's gender roles are much more strictly enforced by society than women's.

It's socially acceptable for girls to play with boys' toys but not for boys to play with girls'.
Women can wear male clothing styles but men cannot wear women's.
A woman taking on a traditionally-male role is celebrated. A male taking on traditionally female-role is shamed and (if that role involves working with children or vulnerable women) accused of being a pedophile or rapist.
Women can interact with society pretty-much as though they were men. They can be career-driven, aggressive, adventurous etc. However, a man must interact with society as a man.

Actually the men's movement started off as a worker's movement -- the labor movement. It was for the rights of working class men. Feminism started off as a movement for bored middle and upper class women who had no work to do, living off their husbands.

If you mean the more recent 20th century movement then it always had a lot of female members ("second wives club") who were angry that their husbands income was being siphoned off by their husband's ex-

I'm a non-straight, but very cis, male.

My biggest issue is one that ends up affecting all men; the Macho Dominance Hierarchy. I want to destroy/abolish it.

Its the ultimate premise behind the bullying of nerdy, atypical, gender-nonconforming men (of ALL sexualities).

Its ultimately the basis behind a LOT of the gay scene (and particularly the gay leather/kink scene) having its ridiculous top/bottom dominance algorithms and hierarchies.

Its ultimately the basis behind the rigid gender-policing of men (which effects ALL men, of ALL sexualities).

I'm not gay (yes, there are categories other than "straight" and "gay"), but gay bashings really are in many situations non-straight bashings. Anti-nonheterosexual violence is disproportionately directed at males.

Seriously, I HATE the traditional gender system. Feminism CLAIMS to hate traditional gender roles but they 'beta'-shame just as much as everyone (look at any of the stuff written by anti-gamergaters for evidence... they hate nerds). The MHRM is frankly the only side that seriously questions the basic underpinnings of the gender system as a whole... today's feminism just wants to replace the drapes and make it more 'hospitable to women.'

Don't be pushing that Cis labeled gender Crap..If you want me and the rest of society to accept peoples ability to self identify as they choose then outliers need to accept that their exist a Norm to differ from. Number matter, facts matter 95% of the human race fall into traditional gender sex roles...

The issues of Non-Straight/Cis people of this subreddit are only prevalent in this subreddit if their issues exists SOLELY because they are men or EXACERBATED by being male.
