So, if you don't know, Watch_dogs is a sandbox, GTA-like game that takes place in Chicago. You play as a vigilante who hacks into people's phones, traffic lights, road blockers, and fuse boxes to do all kinds of cool stuff. I've played for countless hours in this game and just platinumed it (got all the trophies) earlier today.

There's a type of side mission called "Potential Crimes" in which the Crime Detection system the police used that you gained access to locates crimes before they happen, like Minority Report. You profile the criminal, and then chase after them right before they attack. Once you catch them, you can tackle them and beat them with your baton.

I've done hundreds of these missions and I noticed that all the criminals are male. I don't know exactly why they chose to do this. Is it because they simply didn't want to create dialogues for both genders (which seems unlikely based on how many conversations there already is) or, maybe they didn't want to make too many animations or, maybe they're afraid that the media will lose their minds over male-on-female violence when it's to catch a goddamn homicidal criminal (which is actually a reasonable fear nowadays).

Also, I should add that none of the police or the Chicago South Club are female.

Edit: Oh, and in the multiplayer, people invade your game and look like a normal NPC. Some are female, and the takedowns still work and don't look bad. I guess we can rule out #2?
