Men's Rights? Nah. But it'll definitely heavily damage modern feminism, which is the biggest enemy of men's rights.

It's not going to be a massive tipping point into an era where all of society suddenly values men as highly as women... but it'll be a solid step forward.

Few people listen when a man complains about the discrimination he faces. But when a woman speaks on the topic, people listen and pay attention.

Public support from women is probably the most helpful thing for the MRM at this point... when someone other than a so called "angry white male" points out the discrimination and the feminist overreach on certain issues, those issues will start to be taken seriously.

No but it does show to the un-informed "general public" that feminism isn't the arbitrary refuge of virtue and good Feminists market themselves as.

I've said this before. Most people are not feminists, they just hear the word feminism and assume its a good thing whatever feminists doing. People in general do not delve deeper into issues that they feel don't affect them (though in this case it does, they just don't know it). There is a mass cognitive disonance with the word "feminism" that feminists are very eager to maintain, thats why they are obsessed with semantics. People think it means "women being made equal to men" (egalatarianism) which is ofcourse a good thing - but thats not what western, third wave feminism is.

The problem is, you can discredit modern feminism completely and not change a thing because it has become so insidiously entrenched in society and everyday vernacular - as well as our institutions - that it will take many generations to purge.

Maybe, the media sure seems to be giving them a lot of preferential attention, because they are women.

In this scenario, a feminist is talking about rape. She's being getting dramatic and making some pretty ridiculous statements.

A man defends what she said. The other men listening are more likely to take him seriously. The issue isn't his so he's not seen as whiny. He may even bring out the real issues and help sort through the bullshit.
A different man opposes what she said. He's seen as insensitive and sexist because its not his issue and he doesn't seem to be trying to understand, only judging. Only other men and a few women will usually back him and in the end he just looks like an ass.
A woman stands up and supports the feminist. People will roll their eyes and see it as a circlejerk. They'll either ignore or ridicule her unless she brings clarification and pulls the real issue out of the bullshit. Even then, they're probably not listening.
However, when a woman opposes a feminist, people listen, especially if she is a rape victim herself. It's her issue and she's disagreeing and calling the other woman an insensitive cunt. This is what grabs peoples' attention. This is what shames the feminist off her pedestal and maybe even shuts her up for a little while.

If I get what you're asking, and if you honestly feel the way you're implying, then it is your imperative that you disconnect from the world in which you find yourself and forge a new one. That is the prerogative of a man. That world will be taken over by outsiders, then you move on and rebuild. History repeats itself.

Obviously I'm fast forwarding down a linear flow of logic to get from where you are to the solution I present.

As a man, I don't whine about or contend with such bullshit such as the question you pose. I do not care what feminists do or what they feel or believe. They are neither a note nor an enemy. They are not a consideration in the world in which I design.

I think there's a word that would better summarize everything I've said: irrelevant.

Whatever you do, stop worrying about offending and being offended, shape your beliefs, and hold to them to whatever outcome. Drop the politically correct concerns and make yourself.

There have always been women who don't understand what suffrage is about, much like there are a lot of men who don't know what suffrage is about. Ignorance (not in a pejorative sense) is not going to help any kind of activism whatsoever. What would help men's rights is for the affiliated and non-affiliated to recognize that we actually all have the same goals (if those goals are egalitarianism) and to start cooperating and collaborating with each other rather than sparring.
