Sommers is what many call an "equity" feminist. Which basically means she is one of the few people who wear the feminist label and live up to the dictionary definition of wanting "equality" between the sexes. It is not at all weird that you agree with both as many feminists consider Sommers some kind of a traitor.

This highlights exactly the problem with many activists mentalities (i.e you ), rather than assessing things on their individual merit/strength/case you automatically assume someone is either 100% right or 100% wrong, based on who they represent or their past unrelated points.

Some bat shit feminists who are talking out their arse are still correct on some issues and likewise some rational well adjusted people get things wrong.

this simplistic thinking that you cant agree with some and disagree with others is rife in "activist" mentalities.
