Lord only knows, if at my college, one were to say, set up a Men's Rights or anti-rape-accusations club of some sort, we'd immediately be labeled SEXIST and run off campus! But it's totally ok for them to constantly do this, without being aware many times they are doing exactly what they are complaining about. Feminists want equal rights but don't want to live in the real world. I feel horrible for girls who have been raped or legitimately harassed, but IMHO staring or a casual glance is not harassment just in itself. I personally know FOUR young women who falsely accused men of rape, and one of the men went to jail for 10 years over it in Texas (for stat. rape, at the age of 17...and get his...it happened in MEXICO-and for the record, it was a gang bang-that was HER IDEA, NOR WAS SHE DRUNK, when her father caught her sneaking in the next morning he was the one she threw under the bus for the curious). Nothing ever happened to the females for what they did/could have done. Maybe those who scream about equality should consider this as well. Where is the support for the men who have been though stuff? And how dare they label these things as female ONLY while screaming for equality! I'm all for EVERYONE getting the help they need! I would have never found this subreddit if I wasn't starting to feel shamed by these people for being a male. How is it right that when my friends and I (yea all males) walk by a booth at school it's ok for them to sneer at us and talk hushedly amongst themselves. Wouldn't these same feminists cal that harassment if we did the exact same thing? This is really starting to feel like a wedge driven between sexes! I don't want a submissive wife doing only what I tell her, nor do I want to have some woman do the opposite with me. Sigh, can't we all just relax and not be so uptight about the smallest things, and take the appropriate actions for the big stuff? Seems like it's only ever the opposite. Anyway, hope this was ok, new to the sub. Thanks!
