Here's something to ponder: What if college feminists are not lying about being raped in surveys because they are shy or ashamed, but in order to increase the number of rapes in the belief that a higher number = more concern/funding/attention for rape? Think of it this way, if you were taking part in a totally anonymous survey, and you knew that 1 answer might result in increased funding and attention for a cause you care about (whether that's starving kids, men's/women's rights, whatever), and the other answer could possibly reduce funding for that cause, do you think you might lie?

"Hey, say yes that your kids don't have enough food to eat, help us get more funding for starving kids."

"But I don't have any kids."

"Doesn't matter, the survey is anonymous."

"Ok, my make-believe kids don't get enough food each night."

"Thank you very much! You've been a big help."

I bet the same thing happens in rape surveys because it'll increase funding and attention for rape.

The current administration likes to trot out bogus or manipulated statistics to pander to their base. They did the same thing with Fast & Furious and the wage gap garbage. I don't trust a single number that comes out of Washington at this point.

It is the same with human trafficking statistics. One has to wonder when the government will get competent enough to cook numbers without glaring giveaways. Rather worrisome.
