Lots of redpillers try to give this advice to just approach as many women as possible. They say that by approaching lots of women and "getting used" to rejection you'll develop confidence and immunity to it. But they're wrong.

If you look at chads, they never approach women. I have a chad friend who gets approached every time he goes clubbing. He even asked me one time about advice on how to approach women because he sees me doing it all the time. But I just told him to not bother and just keep doing what he's doing, he already get plenty. Because approaching women is a bad strategy.

The reason why it's bad is because there's no "getting used" to rejection. Each rejection chips away at your self esteem. I've been approaching women at nightclubs every weekend for a bit over a year now. At the beginning I was motivated, passionate, and somewhat confident. I could approach 20 - 30 women every night if I got myself drunk enough. Once in a blue moon I was able to score, and during which I had the confidence to dance with girls, make out with them initiate dates, escalate kino on the dates etc. Last weekend I was able to make myself approach 20 women. But that night was the straw that broke the camel's back. My passion and confidence has finally crumbled. I've suddenly become terrified of women. The dancing classs I usually go to every week, I chickened out of going because I was too nervous. I went on a date with a girl tonight, and I was so nervous that I couldn't even bring myself to hug her upon greeting her, or hold her hand, or try to kiss her at the end. I've been on dates before and I had the confidence then to do those things and much more. But now, it's all gone because I was tricked into believing that rejection was something you can get used to. You can't. Rejection will permanently chip away at your self esteem until there's nothing left. If you don't think a girl will like you, just dont' try. It's not worth the risk. "The worst thing she can say is no," is technically true, but the people the say that just don't know what it's like to get rejected over 100 times a month. You're wrong if you think being told "no" so many times doesn't do anything to the mental health of a perpetually alone man who's been suicidal since he was 9 years old, unloved by anyone including his parents and even told to fuck off by therapists.
