It depends on whether you're defining attractiveness by objective traits or subjective opinions.

If we're going by the latter, I believe that there are more women whom men will consider attractive than vice versa.

However, if we take "attractiveness" to mean objective traits, I believe men are actually more attractive on average. We have more defined faces and bone structure, we age much more slowly, and we have more musculature.

Attractive women, easily.

The criteria for "attractive" is much more broad for women. Women can be chubby, skinny, built, or just average and still possess a certain beauty. I'd say if you pulled a random lady from the population, most guys would find something nice about her.

For men, the range is very narrow and is not nearly as forgiving. You need to be tall, lean, and fit with good facial structure to really be considered universally attractive. Imperfections are a lot less forgiving for guys because they subtract heavily from the ideal - things like being chubby or short.

Obviously women, look at the stats men rate 50% of women as attractive.. less than 20% of men are at least average to women's eyes

Attractive women, hands down, no question about it.

(Note: "Attractive" means SEXUALLY attractive. It means "fuckable" or "wants to fuck". It does not mean anything else. "Attractive" especially has exactly nothing to do with relationships or how appealing or adaptable someone is to or for a relationship with someone else. Relationships are totally irrelevant when it comes to attraction and attractiveness.)

Men decide what's attractive. Most men are attracted to most women. Virtually ALL women can find some cohort of men who are attracted to them.

There is an increasingly large swath of men who are attractive to nobody.

objectively speaking there are as much attractive men as attractive women since neither of them can be more attractive because of evolution.

but since men are testosterone-filled simps and society puts women on a pedestal, there are subjectively more attractive women than attractive men.

hypergamy explains this pretty well since women date up, most of them think they are at the same level of chad and since chad is so rare yet average women are so common they think there are more attractive women than attractive men
