“Average guys can be handsome too and women are a lot more flexible on how they view a persons features especially when they know them.”

Then why are a lot of average guys struggling, including me with my height? This is excluding autistic men who aren’t good with social skills and social rules. Women also become more flexible later in life when they’d done having their fun and ready to have relationships or settle, but nobody wants to be the partner that’s settled for.

Yes unfortunately most ugly people are fucked, we know this and are in agreement. You bringing them up in this conversation is purely to make a “gotcha” point.

The majority of women’s minimum standards are waaay higher than a majority of men.

Average men struggle for a variety of reasons. A big one would be over reliance on online dating. Online dating you do not get a chance to interact and show your personality it’s a purely looks driven environment. Despite this men still Over rely on dating apps and take their lack of matches personally and internalise it. On top of this a lot of men don’t have wide social circles so don’t meet women through friends (a lot of the friends they DO have also have 0 women as friends). A man can think he has good social skills but not f he doesn’t have a social circle where he can meet women his skills are not that good seeing as neither he nor his friends actually know women their age.

A lot of men don’t like going out and approaching women- this I understand because a lot of women are far more receptive to warm approaches which means you have to know someone they know unless the guy is attractive so this point also comes back to average men having a lacking social circle and life.

Also a lot of average men also don’t like going out and meeting people in places where people meet, houseparties, clubs and bars - a lot of this is due to covid shutting down a lot of business Venues that offered this, and again a lot of men not knowing people who do have house parties, and also for men lucky to live in social places that have lots of bars and clubs they also don’t like going out because they need to spend money that they don’t have on drinks, entry, clothes etc.

Another reason some average men are not doing well is because they aren’t coming across as a elk as they would like. This could be from their personalities or their mindset, but a lot of average men” aren’t that fun to be around or if they are fun some can be immature or too shy.

It really depends on the person, talking on the internet like this is far to general; but excluding autism and other mental health issues guys will struggle for various reasons.

Also talking about women settling down when they get older is normal in the sense that men also change their preferences as they get older. That’s natural and part of growing. What some men here don’t like is that they feel excluded in the fact that they didn’t get to experience variety so they didn’t get to cultivate their preferences and grow like most men and women have.

While I don’t think there is anything wrong in changing your go you Go after as you get older what I do agree that is wrong is if someone goes after someone they don’t love. Most self respecting women don’t do that but sure some women would and this would be a shit situation for all involved.

Yes casual sex, but probably not one night stands - mainly because if it’s a warm approach you don’t want to shit where you eat and hurt someone who is a friend of a friend but I’m saying that casual sex can include short relationships of a couple months of sex, and it can include friends with benefits. For one night stands the way it can help is by again being invited to more social gatherings, example- you meet a woman who is a friend of your friend. You see each other occasionally when your friend has a party or when you have one and you invite your friend and ask them to invite other people too. Now you guys know each other superficially and when she has a party with her friends and invites your friend your friend feels confident bringing you. You now have more women around you (her friends) that if you really do have good social skills like some guys claim then you will be fine talking to these women and flirting with them.

Or let’s say you and your friend go out to a club and he brings his woman friend and you ideally bring some of yours. You are in a group while out. This is good social proof and makes it far easier to meet other randoms while out and this is far easier to find one night stands.

But ultimately a lot of the guys who struggle don’t or can’t do this because their social skills aren’t as good as they think. And they rely on online dating.

Also these things I’ve said will certainly help people Improve their chances at casual sex but there isn’t a handbook or a set of guidelines that can be done to Rick off and then “get” casual sex. It ultimately comes down to social skills and social circle for most average men and if you have an honest conversation with most men who are struggling if you start questioning them you will probably find these things are lacking even if they don’t realise it themselves.
