the 0..1 binary scale is the reductionist mapping of the multi-dimensional 1..10 scale (with fine decimal graduations if needs be) into one dimension.

Yep, the mapping function changes by time of day, blood alcohol percentage, weather outside (y'know, sunshine DOES make the skirts shorter) and (I recently discovered that one) lunar phase.

No man, that's not the attraction scale, that's the "would I fuck her or not" scale, which is binary (alcohol usually modifies the threshold). But there is a relatively objective 1-10 scale. I'd fuck a 6 without shame, however, there is no argument that the 8 is hotter, who I'd rather fuck.

To be honest, I see it referenced often in TRP theory, but I very rarely actually use it in life. You could put a number on it if you wanted to think about it, but that's not nearly as fun as simply describing what makes her awesome. As an example, not every ass of an 8 is the same.

I generally grade her on the Likerd scale on the following subjects:

Tits, body fat, face, eyes and my dick.

The average is x a rational number between 0 and 5

then I add, subtract, multiply by a varied coefficient according to her behavior, sense of humor, how much fun she is, sex appeal and so on, lets just say that logarithms and polynomial algebra plays a role. And in the end according to the scale of the power of gamma I determine my approach and how many negs i shoot in the first 3 minutes, unfortunately she is already riding the dj orthogonally, if you know what I'm saying.

Edit: I'll try to take your question seriously for a minute and actually create the basis for some rp theory. Why are you rating girls? You give them value by doing this, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you're a ten and your not picking up women to impress your beta friends. Does HER grade actually matter as long as she is fun, the simple fact that YOU, a ten, spend your time with her, makes her instantly a ten(or one). Just an opinion but the notion that she a X(or a zero) is both full of passive aggressive bullshit and makes you (your group) give her value just based on your impression of her. Want to grade her, approach her, spend a half an hour with her, fuck her and then grade her. And be a good guy and tell her the grade, and some feedback.

Also, a persons value doesn't change, your(and her) desperation does. Again just an opinion, but if she was a 7 at 9, and she didn't find someone by 2, she maybe overselling herself, and you just paid full price after Christmas.

I thought current thinking had this replaced with a 1-30 scale (granted this thought is somewhat sidetracked from your point).

1-9 being poor quality woman.
10-19 importantly describing that middle ground
20-30 largely undoing the semantics of a 9/10 being unobtainable.

I hardly use the scaling system day to day though so I claim no particular expertise as to what the PUA metrics are at the moment.

I still think the 1-10 scale is the de facto best way to rate women either in terms of pure appearance or SMV.

Keeping in mind that 5 is designated to be average. This means about half the women look better than them and about half look worse. It is also the point at which most dudes consider a woman to be 'bangable'. All a binary system does is codify where on your 1-10 scale you consider a woman bangable.

I know we as red pill men have a higher standard. Your average joe probably considers a 5 as bangable. However I think most here consider a 6 or 7 the lowest they'll fuck and for good reason. If you are going to deal with all the entitled bitchiness that all women seem to have in the western world then at least they better be easy on the eyes.

I have always implemented a scaling pass-fail system based upon the policy at my old college.

If you fall below the standards for the class, you get a failure. If you meet the standards of the class, but do not do exceptionally well in the class, you get a pass and your grade in the class does not affect your GPA. If you happen to do well enough in the class such that averaging the grade in for it would improve your GPA, you get to average it in.

In short, my physical attractiveness scale is pass/fail with room to improve your overall attractiveness average if your physical attractiveness is high enough.

It's a binary scale with multidimensional plot-lines. Factoring in all of the possibilities that lead to that ultimate 1 or 0 is where people sometimes lose the plot (no pun intended). Especially because being variables, they vary among individuals lol.

I know that a 6 for me might be an 8 for a guy with low self-esteem. A 4 can turn into a 7 if she's wild enough in the sac. The reverse is true, I've heard stories of cute girls who were missionary lame ducks in bed. Probably because they never had to use girl game to appease a man.

I do find it interesting though that men damn near universally understand the 1-10 scale. I've never heard of women having a scale, rather they apply the binary with a chaos factor.
