Over the past few weeks I have seen this sub change a lot. A lot more trolls, bots, and others have come on to disturb the peace and others have come in bad faith to try and get this sub banned. As the sole active mod on this subreddit, I have come to the conclusion that something, or a few things, need to change. Bulletpoints:

  1. There will be a crackdown on misogyny on this sub. Lately, I have seen both comments and posts coming in that demonise women as a gender instead of hating feminism. This will stop. Any caught in violation of this will go through my 5 steps of banning which I will later list

  2. Misandry and trolling. If I see anyone say anything that could be deemed as hateful towards men, the same will go. Feminist theory will also result in comment removal and a ban. No promoting false myths like 'Patriarchy' and 'Toxic Masculinity'. If you want a sub for that, go to TwoX or Menslib

  3. Post flairs. I've had a few complaints on the past few days when I've approved a post with people saying that it doesn't match the post flair it's been assigned. From now on, I will require on a post an explanation on how your post fits the post flair or I will not approve it. Also, please blot out all names and addresses and stuff like that. I don't want this sub getting banned for brigading

Now, onto the banning system. As I've said, it's a 5 step process:

Step 1: If it's your first violation, your comment will be removed with a reason attached to it with no further action

Step 2: If this is your second violation, you will be issued with a 3 day ban from the subreddit with chance of appeal

Step 3: Third violation will result in a 7 day ban, comment removed and a warning that if you do it again, you will receive a permanent ban

Step 4: A 4th violation of the subreddit rules will result in a permananet ban with chance of appeal

Step 5: If it isn't already obvious, throughout all of these steps, I will give you the chance of appeal. This step will be different. Following another permanent ban, you will have no chance of appeal. If you do try, you will be muted
