I don't have AppleTV but caught the first few episodes of this show yesterday. Oh boy...I thought I'd seen woke before, but this was on a different level. It was an interesting idea, that the Russians beat the US to the moon and how it changed the dynamic of the space race into one of eventual colonisation of the moon and beyond. It could have been amazing...but it slowly morphed into an uber feminist advert. The plot lines almost entirely revolve around "men bad...women good" or "men incompetent...women save the day". What could have been a nuanced take on ALL of the USA, both men and women pulling together for this great fight, was lost in virtue signalling and blatant sexism. Even the shows own marketing and cast say it's a feminist vehicle (I had to check afterwards). When I read the bi-line I was exited to see the show (I love all things Apollo era), but I just had to turn it off after 4 episodes.

I have zero problem with the principal of equality in space exploration, it's worked extremely well in reality, but I refuse to watch a show that deliberately depicts men as the enemy or stupid just to puff up a feminists ego.
