We all lose value as we age. I am not as agile&energetic as i was when i was 17 and i sure as hell won't be anywhere NEAR that when i turn 40. I bet i could easily beat my 40 yr old self from the future. Youth is the single most important factor when it comes to education,jobs&dating. When you cross a certain age threshold, you get into problems, for ex:Having little or no Job Experience at 30 or being single at 40. Sure, its not the end of the world but your opportunities are now few&far between at that point.

If you’re not able to get married in your later years, that more has to do with innerself and less with your age.

That is ignorant, the dating pool&dynamics for older people is drastically different. Men lose attraction to women after a certain age(the 40s), you can't blame this on anyone but nature.

Nothing about my comment is "shitting on women" unless you believe in feminist bullshit.

If anything, it's "shitting on society" because it creates a huge pool of men excluded from having any reason to want to live in this society, no stake in this society, and would rather burn it all down. It's not a stable thing to have for anyone - men or women.

Men are opting out of this clown world in droves, and some of it is peaceful. But not all of it will be peaceful. When you have 70-80% of men completely excluded from family and relationships and have no reason to want to support society or the future of society, there will be a huge collapse. It's the reason why religions existed to stabilize society with rules.

Why is the rule of monogamy so beneficial? Because it means that we don't exclude 70-80% of men from society. Of course, this can create undesirable restrictions on both men and women. Some prefer the freedom to date as many people as they want in life. It's a very understandable freedom. But the consequence of this freedom, is that you abandon very large pools of people, and you might say, "oh that doesn't matter to me, that's their problem". But it actually becomes everyone's problem when 70-80% of men decide, "fuck society, idgaf about anyone or anything".

Crime increases, homelessness increases, hate crimes increase, prisons increase, there are more laws and fewer freedoms for everyone in general, productivity of the country suffers greatly, poverty increases. Is this a tradeoff worth having for the freedom to have more than one partner?

I'm not really sure.

But we should at least ADDRESS THE FUCKING TRADEOFF and not act like it's just the problem of those individuals to somehow "get their act together" in a world where they have no reason to, and in a world that has discarded them as trash.

Your comment (and all the other comments) make me understand even better why feminism is such a strong force right now. When logic is offensive, truth is prohibited.

Your fantasy made-up rules about dating by age has nothing to do with thousands of years of evolutionary history and the way men and women mate biologically.

You're no different than the psychotic feminists who narrowly believe in dumb shit while ignoring biology.

I didn't invent the rules. Nature, for whatever reason, has decided that women have a very different sell-by-date than men.

Is it CRUEL that NATURE decided men can have kids between the ages of like ~14 all the way to ~85, but women can have kids between the ages of like ~14 all the way to ~38 (peak at ~24 and exponentially declines every year after). I don't know if it's CRUEL but it is what it is.

What this simply means is that you're going to have a shit ton of men chasing after a small group of highly desirable women who have a lot to lose if they get pregnant (biologically). Which basically puts all the power of the mating process into the women's hands for a very narrow point in her life.

You make it sound like it's a shitty deal only for women that they peak at 24. It's a wonderful deal for women for a short period of time, and it's a dumbass move on their part to prioritize bull shit like their "career" which is realistically a goddamn wage slave job. And in research after research, the majority of people find that it's their family or relationships that provide the most meaning and value in their life - not their damn 9-5. And this narrows the band even more. There are basically a drastic shortage of eligible women, which gives those who are eligible a lot of power.

It's not a great deal for women. It's not a great deal for men, who now have to compete with basically every damn age range of men. A lot of men will never mate before they die. For some reason, nature likes it that way. In a polygamous society, which modern society pretty much is now with so much "freedom" from tradition and casual dating, women will go to the extreme end of their selectivity because they can. So yes, the top 5% of men will get 65% of women. Most men will be pretty damn miserable in terms of having a healthy relationship. This isn't necessarily great for those women either, since there's no way the top 5% can have long-term or deep relationships with all the women he dates.

It's actually balanced, even though extremely different. In other words, it's just nature. Your judgement is political and shrouded with fantasies and intentions and beliefs that you simply "wish were true, but are not". And going against nature always ends badly.

And you might say that it's not just about having kids.

But it is, even if you're not having kids. The more freedom we have, the more we actually act as our biology desires. Why do women select for men who are strong and have money and good genetics, where as men seem to only select for women who have good genetics? Everything we do in dating has procreation seeping through, even if it's not our intent in any way whatsoever.

It's not the fucking patriarchy. It's human evolution. Even when a man is not dating to impregnate a woman, he prefers attractive, healthy, younger women. That is biology. I don't think it's offensive or bad or anything. It's actually more disgusting that we can't even acknowledge human biology and history.

I'm so sick of people who white knight women against "misogyny" that is clearly just logic. This sub is becoming the same leftist trash that is the rest of reddit. No logic anymore.
