Feminism isn't about equality. It's about justice. And if you don't understand how utterly and cruelly women have been exploited and denigrated throughout the ages then you need to pick up a fucking history book.

Or check out Britney spears for a modern example. She's a grown woman and under the pretense of mental health issues she is basically become a slave to her family.

This is exactly the same thing that led to lobotomies back in the day. Go even further back you get witches. Go even further back and you get thousands and millions of women being tortured or killed under the pretense of helping them.
