He he. I stopped giving seats to physically abled women.

Pregnant and old people. That's it.

I've been thinking about how awesome it would be to have an all male school with all male faculty, where lad train to be accomplished and virtuous. You can educate boys so quickly, if you don't have to slow everything down for girls. In a male-led setting, they spontaneously do their best, to win honors and pride. You can feed them math and science and tech subjects, and they gobble it right up, because it's something male competitors do together. Without any females around, they can accomplish such amazing things so quickly.

Charter school budgets can't be allocated to schools that separate boys and girls. But parents would gladly pay tuition for something that would give their kids a huge advantage . I've also wondered if you could have a charter school where they only attend two hours coed, and then it's segregated for the subjects that really require a lot of work. You could also just make it a masculine atmosphere, with all male faculty, so girls would only want to go there if they could work as hard as boys, but they technically would be allowed to attend. I'd want faculty that have done something else besides just be a schoolteacher. Industry, tech, manufacturing, research, something besides teach class.

if you don't agree ith chivalry, don't practice it. simple as that.

[–]eldred2 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Do you think those children were given a choice?

[–]cherrysoupsux -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

are you given a choice to participate in mathclass? or social studies? or art? or chem? nope. you still dealt with it, they will too. you probably learned false, stupid, useless shit in school too. you still managed fine. i hope.

Nice straw man.

You are exactly the reason this needs to be taught in preschool. I just can’t believe you have a problem with people giving away their seats for the elderly and pregnant women. What is wrong with you? Who the fuck hurt you so badly? Get a therapist.

[–]No-Satisfaction-2320 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why do only the boys stand up though?

[–]Big_Chocolate_420 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

if you teach sexist behaviour you will deepen sexism.

it doesn't matter if it is benevolent sexism. you teach boys and girls that they are not equal.

if only one side learns that they must offer their seat what will they learn.

boys will see that it's unfair.

girls will learn that they are special/superior or beneath boys. none of the is good for equality

are girls like disabled boys? are they weaker than an elderly person?

benevolent sexism is sexism

Why the only teach to give the seat are male kids? Even give the seat to a girl because is a girl. This is adoctrination at young age, dont you see? Im not having a issue in giving the seat to an elder person or a prenant woman. Most of times when i take the bus i go standing because my travel most of time are less than 20 mins.

The girl that sat in the middle was carrying a doll, thet represented a woman with a newborn or a toddler. But I agree with you, why the fuck did only the boys had to give up their seats?

I was saying the last one. The one with purple t shirt. The second was with a newborn as you say.

[–]Tropenpinguin 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The one with the purple shirt "is pregnant". She has a pillow or something under that shirt. It's just not easy to see.

[–]magic_damage[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, you are correct. Didnt notices this untill you tell me. But still only boys get up ;/ and they go directly to them.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Because gender norms, you can't preach for traditional values unless you accept that they come with traditional views on gender and roles for each gender, resulting in different treatment of men and women, thus leading to chivalry.

Btw I mean the general "you" not you specifically

But that doesn't really seem relevant to this video because all it appears to be teaching is politeness towards elderly people, pregnant people, and people holding babies.

[–]AirSailer 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

It shows they are teaching that only boys should sacrifice for elderly people, pregnant people, and people holding babies. But no fear, it's men that will step up and make the sacrifice as we have done since busses existed, this will help women conserve their energy for more important things like complaining about their oppression.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

It could literally just be a coincidence, I think y'all are reading too much into this

This is one clip of a video, maybe they had people taking turns, maybe the kids decided for themselves to move, maybe they were doing it based on whoever is sitting on the right sp we can people stand on the left.

It's such a short video that there's so many possibilities and really no point in getting upset over rit

[–]AirSailer 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

There's three girls on the left, none of them give up their seats. Maybe it's unconscious bias against men on the part of the teacher.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Like I said literally just a seconds long video z we have literally zero information on what the planning/ thought process was for this.

[–]AirSailer 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

And without any more information you say it just happens to be a coincidence, and people who are pointing out the bias are reading too much into it. You are showing your own bias towards women, and there's a term for it....

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Just said it COULD be a coincidence

I'm entitled to my opinion just like anybody else in this sub that supposedly values free speech and opposing opinions

[–]AirSailer 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sure, I never said you shouldn't have an opinion. Our two opinions happen to differ, but it's all good, no disrespect meant on my part. The world would certainly be a boring place if everybody agreed on everything.

[–][deleted]1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Amen to that, no disrespect intended on my end either.

Have a good day man!

What i pointed is the adoctrination at young age. Most of school teacher are women, most of them are femenist in someway ( they say that they are against femenist, but they took all the benefits from it.like a feminst karen) or feminist of some diferent wave. If they wanted equaly they would preach and teach other believes.

Talking about bus logic:

For example in the left frontline the first kid its a gir, and when the elder enter a bus, the first seats ar for them. That way they dont walk to much in a moving vehicule. The same for pregnant womans. If a pregnant woman falls inside or get hits on a bus you dont know how much troubles bring this. What i have pointed is that they dont teach equality or empathy ( you are a woman and you see another woman pregnant you give her a seat because when you were pregnant or if someday you get pregnant an need a seat, you would like to get one for the safety of the baby). In my country pregnant woman always travel sit on bus, if the woman dont get a seat soon they stop the bus untill they get her a seat. I see this as adoctrination and submission of one gender. Also this remembers me to the times where if a "color person" was sit they must give her seat to any white people.

Maybe i making a snowball from an snowflake.

Bonus track:

Believe it or not my father(78) was bus driver for 25 years. HereHere i take a picture of my father wardrobe door, where he has old photos. And the bottom left you could see my father now giving food to our dogs. Its has nothing to do with what we are talking, but its true.

[–]eldred2 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the issue is with the apparently not pregnant and not disabled girl in the front, by the entrance. Every rider getting on the bus had to walk past her to get on the "bus" and then claim some boy's seat.

It would be a much better lesson if it didn't show one gender having priority over the other.
